Terry Dyck started her first dog in agility training in 1998, began competing in 2001 and became an agility instructor in 2006. She has been passionate about agility and has enjoyed competing with her dogs over the years. She has trained several dogs in agility, including Crystal, a Papillon, who was a two time national finalists in the USDAA Steeplechase national tournament in 2002 and 2003 and earned the title of Agility Dog Champion (ADCH) in 2004. Wicket, a Border Collie rescue, became a five time champion; USDAA ADCH, BRONZE ADCH and PERFORMANCE DOG CHAMPION (PDCH). She also has a border collie/cattle dog mix named Chance who is currently training.
Training Philosophy
Terry Dyck believes that agility should be fun for both the handler and the dog. She actively competes in several different organizations (USDAA, AKC, CPE) and attends seminars with top agility handlers and instructors to stay up-to-date on the latest training methods.
