4 Paws Obedience Training offers group classes and private lessons for puppies and adult dogs. They assist with basic obedience such as sit, stay, down, leash walking, and come, as well as curtail unwanted behaviors. They are certified and serve Chicago's western suburbs, including Lisle, Downers Grove, Westmont, Hinsdale, Oakbrook, Naperville, and Woodridge.
The group class for puppies and adult dogs meets at Downers Grove Animal Hospital and lasts for 6 weeks. It covers basic obedience cues and solutions to common problems such as chewing, digging, jumping, and more. An advanced group class is offered during the summer, providing a review of obedience cues, a small introduction to agility and rally obedience, as well as a chance to learn a few tricks. At the end of class, owners and their canine friends can take the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen test (CGC). Those not part of the classes can still register for the CGC Test. Additionally, they offer a K9 Games Event, providing a fun way to review through games and family fun. For more information, interested individuals can call or visit the website.
