Kelsey Danae McFarland
Kelsey is the owner and trainer at Amniota Animal Training. She got her start training animals in 2008 with the World Bird Sanctuary. Her job had her traveling to different zoos across the country to present bird shows. In 2010 she was hired at the Texas State Aquarium where she quickly worked her way up to Curator of Birds and Mammals. In total, she has worked with over 50 different species of animals, including bald eagles, red-tailed hawks, river otters, macaws, and African servals. She has a BS in Agricultural Science with an emphasis in Animal Science from Truman State University. She has been living in Anacortes since 2016.
