Social Petworking is run by a dog trainer who is a pitbull parent and understands the challenges of owning a breed that is often perceived as dangerous. The trainer struggled to find a pet sitter or trainer who didn’t discriminate based on breed. This experience led them to learn about dog health and training on their own, eventually working in veterinary medicine and focusing on animal behavior. They are now a certified positive reinforcement dog trainer and part of the Karen Pryor Academy family.
