About this trainer

Good Dog! Behavior Training LLC offers family-friendly dog obedience training using science-based and compassionate methods to transform your pet into a calm and responsive companion.

Stephanie Gintner, a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC), serves as the Head Trainer. The training equipment utilized includes head harnesses, front-clip harnesses, and clickers, while avoiding the use of slip (choke) collars, prong collars, or electronic (shock) collars. The training philosophy focuses on reinforcing desired behaviors and utilizing these behaviors for control in challenging situations.

Training covers essential commands such as sit, down, stay, and come, with a strong emphasis on exposure to distractions to ensure a well-behaved dog. Good Dog! Behavior Training LLC offers private training sessions during the daytime and evenings in Fort Collins, Wellington, Windsor, and Loveland, Colorado. Additionally, group classes are available on Tuesdays, including “Good Dogs Out On the Town” and “Canine Good Citizen” through the City of Fort Collins, CO.

For more information, inquiries can be directed to [email protected]. Stephanie Gintner assists individuals of all ages and abilities in achieving their dog training goals using dog-friendly techniques. Whether it’s helping a fearful puppy become more comfortable around guests or teaching an energetic young adult dog to ignore distractions on the hiking trail, Stephanie employs scientifically-proven methods to create a happy, relaxed, and confident companion for you and your family.
