Curly Sam Dog Training thrives on finding the perfect combination of non-reactive, humane, modern, and innovative training methods such as positive reinforcement, marker-training, science-based, and relationship-based training.
Curly Sam is a certified dog trainer (ABCDT) based in NYC. Their passion for dog training began almost a decade ago when, as a young adult, they sought help with Pink, their then 9-month-old poodle, and the youngest of their family’s pack. Captivated by the experience, they continued training Pink and many of their friends’ and family’s dogs for years. Finally, in 2017, Curly Sam decided to transform their passion into a career, studying different methods, obtaining certifications, and promptly commencing to assist people and their furry friends.
