At Jazzy Pawz-n-Wagz, the professional dog training journey began in 2016, coinciding with the year of graduation from Animal Behavior College Dog Training School. A Certified Professional Dog Trainer, mentored by esteemed professionals in Colorado, this trainer specializes in basic obedience, next-level obedience (including distractions and off-leash training), and behavior modification.
The training arsenal includes a clicker, front clip harness, flat buckle collar, treats, praise, attention, toys, relaxation methods, calming oils, and proper nutrition and exercise. The training philosophy revolves around positive reinforcement and negative punishment (reward-based training), emphasizing that dogs should never be coerced into behavior. The emphasis is on continual learning, humility, consistency, and diligence, with a focus on building trust rather than exerting control.
Service areas include Port St. Lucie, Tradition, Ft. Pierce, Stuart, and Palm City. Relocating to Florida in 2018 revealed a deeper purpose: to facilitate harmonious living between dogs and their humans through enhanced understanding and communication. This realization led to the establishment of a personal business, driven by a passion for constant learning and a deep love for the work.
