Plum Point Pooch LLC is a positive, science-based training company run by a dog trainer and behavior consultant. With a focus on building trust and strong relationships between people and their pets, the trainer aims to help individuals understand and respond to their dogs’ communication while giving the dogs choices in the learning process.
With over 8 years of shelter experience and a certification as a CPDT-KSA, the trainer has been working with dogs since 2007. The training philosophy is fear-free and force-free, always allowing the dog to have a say in the learning process. Using flat leashes and collar/harness equipment, the primary service area includes Harford County, Maryland, with some coverage in Cecil & Baltimore Counties, Maryland.
The primary goal of the trainer is to foster trust and understanding between people and their dogs, ultimately strengthening the relationship. Specializing in one-on-one sessions, the trainer works with dogs and individuals who may tend to become overly reactive while on a leash.
