With over 30 years of experience in training, showing, and breeding dogs, the Lead Trainer at Two Paws-Up Dog Training specializes in obedience, puppy, agility, nosework, and clicker training.
Situated in Northwest Illinois, the training facility offers a comprehensive range of equipment for agility and various other training needs. The training philosophy at Two Paws-Up Dog Training is rooted in positivity.
The goal is to understand both the dog and the owner/handler, guiding them from puppyhood to adulthood. Addressing unwanted nervous behaviors and transforming them into positive and willing behaviors is a primary focus.
The ultimate aim is to integrate the trained dog as a true family member. The Lead Trainer emphasizes that obedience alone may not always suffice. Respect between the dog and handler is fundamental in ensuring enthusiastic and wholehearted collaboration.
This approach results in a dog that is not only trainable but also a joy to live with.
