Meet the owner and trainer of Prep Your Pup Training Academy, LLC. Living on a rural homestead with family and animals, she and her husband care for three children, two sheepadoodles, goats, chickens, and honey bees.
Her journey in training began in the 1990s, and she has been formally training since April 2018. Holding CPDT-KA certifications and designations, her training philosophy centers around positive reinforcement, LIMA, and the Puppy Culture Enrichment Program.
Offering services to puppy owners from near and far, she ensures that transportation to and from training is facilitated. At Prep Your Pup Training Academy, the focus is on providing a solid foundation for both the owner and the puppy.
Training equipment includes kindness, patience, consistency, and knowledge. Puppies are fully integrated into family life, living in the home, and are well-socialized, crate trained, leash trained, basic command trained, potty trained, and taught good manners through positive reinforcement.
The academy provides the necessary preparation for a harmonious life together, emphasizing enrichment and a nurturing environment for learning.
