Gallivan Burwell is a graduate of the renowned Academy for Dog Trainers in San Francisco. He is the only trainer in New Orleans to have attained the “Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed” and “Certified Behavior Counselor Canine -Knowledge Assessed” credentials from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers.
Gallivan Burwell is a force-free dog trainer and behavior adjustment specialist. He believes that dogs are not pack animals and that training should be fun and based on positive reinforcement. He does not use force or fear in his training methods.
