Scooter’s School of Sit & Stay offers private classes conducted in the comfort of your home. Group classes are also available in Dansville, NY and Rochester, NY, covering different levels such as Puppy, Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.
Additionally, CGC testing is provided. The training equipment includes Gentle Leader Head Collar, Thundershirt, Buckle Collar, Non-retractable Leashes, Treat Pouch, Toys, and Clicker. The training philosophy is centered around positive reinforcement.
Behavioral issues are best addressed at your home, considering a dog’s different behavior in various environments. The evaluation covers the entire household, not just the dog.
Serving locations include travel within one hour of Rochester for private lessons at your home. Darlene has extensive experience, having worked with a national dog trainer to become a volunteer trainer at Lollypop Farm and being a certified trainer at Petsmart.
Her training is tailored to meet the specific needs of your dog. Private lessons are recommended, particularly for addressing behavioral issues or managing multiple dogs. Private classes can be scheduled by the hour, or a discounted rate is offered for a package of 4 private lessons.
