KK’s K9 Training, LLC specializes in basic, intermediate, and advanced obedience training as well as behavior modification. As the Owner/Operator, KK offers certifications as a Be A Tree presenter and Therapy Dog evaluator.
The training equipment used includes leather leashes, long lines for recall training, front clip and walking harnesses for pulling training, and limited slip collars/martingale collars. The training philosophy emphasizes the potential of the relationship between a dog and its owner.
KK serves Port Saint Lucie, Stuart, and surrounding areas, and partners with Mitchos Doane, a Dog Behaviorist from Georgia, for highly reactive or aggressive dogs. KK holds credentials as a Certified Dog Trainer/Instructor from Penn Foster, is a Tester/Evaluator for the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, Inc., and is a member of AABP (Association of Animal Behavior Professionals), The Pet Guild, and Doggone Safe – Be A Tree Presenter.
KK conducts two-day training workshops with Mitchos Doane every three months at a local park to reinforce obedience and socialization, offered at a reduced fee for both days.
