OC Canine Coaching specializes in private and customized in-home obedience and behavior modification. The focus is on primarily positive reinforcement training, supplemented by corrections when necessary.
The training philosophy prioritizes building a strong relationship with the dog without resorting to dominance tactics or causing harm. The service areas include Irvine, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, Tustin, Huntington Beach, Lake Forest, Fountain Valley, Laguna Niguel, Orange, and Corona del Mar.
The trainer works extensively with puppies and rescued dogs, recognizing the individuality of each dog and tailoring the approach accordingly. Behavior modification constitutes a significant portion of the business. Certifications and training equipment include collars, leashes, and more.
