Barbara holds a Karen Pryor certification as a training partner and is a CPDT-KA Knowledge-Assessed Trainer. She is a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and the Pet Professional Guild.
Additionally, she serves as a Canine Good Citizen evaluator. Barbara is a trainer for the Pets for Vets Minneapolis Chapter, which provides animals for veterans in need of trained companion pets. She has taught various group classes, including puppy to advanced levels, Canine Good Citizen prep, agility, and custom private training.
With years of experience, Barbara is skilled in addressing problem behaviors using science-based positive solutions. She enjoys training with her three dogs: Smash, Max, and Lil’ Miss, who was her training partner at the Karen Pryor Academy and is a Certified Canine.
