Jasper came into the world weighing just 49 grams, less than two AA batteries. Born by Caesarian section, his mother didn’t have the energy to feed him and his brother; had he not been adopted by a Pomeranian who’d just had puppies of her own, he might not have survived. Five months later, he is now twenty times as heavy as when he was born. He is 1kg of pure joy!
Jasper adores chasing his siblings, three cats, frantically around the garden, before running in circles with sheer exhilaration when he has shooed them back inside. His tail wags gleefully when he meets other dogs, but doesn’t quite appreciate just how tiny he is in comparison occasionally; luckily has Harry to look out for him. Jasper loves to nap, particularly in the mornings and Harry’s neck is his favorite spot to snooze.

After each surgery Wilfred has carefully watched over Emma, getting help when necessary, doing nothing for 22 hours a day but work because he loves his work, and he loves his human (thankfully!). He isn’t a dog that will snuggle with you, but he has saved Emma’s life on numerous occasions and for that he’s a hero.
